This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance data pipelines and ingestion processes on GCP.

• Create data transformations using SQL and dbt on BigQuery.

• Utilize streaming and ingestion tools like Kafka and Apache NiFi.

• Provide support for pipeline operations and tooling setup throughout the entire development lifecycle, including production data workflows.

• Collaborate with teammates and client stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions.

• Engage in architecture discussions and suggest improvements.

• Employ GitLab, Jira, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Antigravity in daily tasks.

• Work alongside the client’s Senior Product Owner and Lead Data Developer as part of a collaborative team with Software Mind.

• Contribute to projects for a gaming company focused on responsible gaming, player protection, and fraud prevention.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT workflows and the construction of data pipelines.

• Proficient in SQL with experience in dbt or another SQL-based transformation tool.

• Familiarity with BigQuery or a comparable cloud data warehouse.

• Experience with Kafka and ingestion tools like Apache NiFi.

• Knowledge of GCP or an alternative cloud platform.

• Solid understanding of tool setup, pipeline operations, and managing production data workflows.

• Comfortable using GitLab and Jira.

• Enthusiasm for integrating AI tools into development processes.

• Proficient English skills for effective team communication.

• A sense of ownership in work, a proactive approach, and a desire to learn.

• Experience with Flink or Spark.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD deployments.

• Knowledge of Power BI.

• Experience with Apache Airflow or another orchestration tool.
