Data Engineer III, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Report to a Senior Manager of Data Engineering & Reporting.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products that integrate information from various sources.

• Create solutions to extract, transform, integrate, and deliver dependable data to meet analytical and business requirements.

• Develop and enhance data engineering capabilities to improve data accessibility, performance, quality, and scalability.

• Analyze requirements and convert business and technical needs into data designs, specifications, and solutions.

• Identify and implement enhancements to data engineering processes, focusing on automation, optimization, and increased reliability.

• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to address data-related challenges and deliver solutions that fulfill business needs.

• Apply contemporary data engineering practices while providing technical guidance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering or software engineering is required.

• Experience in designing and developing scalable data pipelines, data integration solutions, and data products.

• Proficiency in programming, scripting, and data query languages for developing and manipulating data solutions.

• Experience in translating requirements into technical designs and implementing solutions that involve multiple data sources.

• Knowledge of modern data engineering practices, including data processing, automation, testing, deployment, and cloud-based technologies.
