Data Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve data pipelines (ETL/ELT), creating automated, dependable, and scalable workflows.

• Engage in the transition of CRM pipelines to a new data architecture.

• Model data and ensure its availability for segmentation and personalization across analytical layers.

• Document and provide data with the required frequency and latency for batch loads and near-real-time applications.

• Establish and oversee data contracts, SLAs, ownership, and quality criteria.

• Identify and resolve issues that may impact campaigns and analytics.

• Create monitoring, telemetry, and alerting systems to proactively identify problems.

• Assist in integrating the data environment with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Amplitude, and other automation and engagement tools.

• Aid in journey operations and workflow optimization.

• Enhance processing performance and manage costs effectively.

• Document solutions, support team members, and contribute to best practices and the development of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in SQL (modeling, procedures, DML, DDL, and pipelines) and Python.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data lake/lakehouse architectures.

• Experience with Databricks is an advantage.

• Knowledge of GCP (BigQuery) is also beneficial.

• Proven experience in orchestrating pipelines using Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or similar tools.

• Adherence to software engineering best practices: version control (Git), testing, code reviews, and documentation.

• Understanding of data quality, governance, and observability practices (contracts, monitoring, and alerting).

• Preferred: experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Amplitude, customer segmentation concepts, and CDPs.

• Preferred: insights into the payments market and financial products.
