This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, code, implement, and support integration processes along with data warehouse activities.

• Convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Create, customize, and oversee integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and assist with production data pipeline jobs that transfer data to and from databases.

• Guide junior team members on best practices and design patterns.

• Code, test, and implement integration software for ETL solutions.

• Develop mappings for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources to a target data lakehouse or warehouse.

• Schedule and integrate application/software logs with monitoring applications.

• Implement stored procedures and query systems including data lakehouse, data warehouse, MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• Debug and resolve errors while supporting production jobs.

• Produce comprehensive development, policy, and procedure documentation.

• Participate in development planning sessions and weekly team status meetings.

• Create and update project management documentation.

• Provide occasional off-hours emergency and on-call support.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and existing software.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

• 2 years of experience with data lakehouse or enterprise data is required.

• 2 years of database development experience using Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and Bash is required.

• 2 years of Big Data experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar technologies is required.

• 3 years of data engineering experience with an integration/ETL tool or application is required.

• 1 year of experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS is preferred.

• 2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field is preferred.

• Availability for occasional off-hours emergencies and on-call support is necessary.

• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and data quality tools is highly valued.

• Familiarity with Unified Catalog or Microsoft Purview is highly valued.
