Data Engineer – Global Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• You will report directly to a Manager of Data Engineering, who will provide substantial, hands-on training on innovative data tools and methodologies.

• Develop and sustain comprehensive data pipelines from start to finish.

• Assist in establishing best practices for our data modeling and pipeline construction.

• Generate AI-ready analytical datasets that are structured with the necessary metadata, documentation, and business context for effective utilization by AI agents and insight-driven applications.

• Become proficient in resolving intricate data pipeline challenges utilizing PySpark and SQL.

• Work in tandem with stakeholders to integrate business logic into our core pipelines.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Databricks, Spark, AI, and other internally developed ETL tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical field.

• You have over 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in other technical roles.

• You are enthusiastic about tackling data challenges and acquiring new skills.

• You have a solid understanding of data handling or constructing data pipelines.

• You are proficient in working with large-scale datasets using PySpark, Delta, and Databricks.

• You comprehend business requirements and the reasoning behind data transformations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and data strategies.

• You have a strong desire to continually learn new technologies.

• You are a proactive individual who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders.

• You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or similar tools.
