This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop and sustain comprehensive Ingest β Transform β Expose pipelines utilizing Airflow, Spark, dbt, and Iceberg.
β’ Ingest and standardize both structured and unstructured data (HL7, FHIR, PDF, JSON) for analytics and AI/ML applications.
β’ Align datasets with FHIR and OMOP standards to facilitate interoperability and enhance decision-making support.
β’ Establish schema versioning and governance protocols to guarantee traceability and maintain audit-ready lineage.
β’ Partner with DevSecOps and Data Science teams to produce AI-optimized datasets for predictive analytics and readiness forecasting.
β’ Enhance data performance across distributed environments while adhering to DoD Responsible AI and NIST AI Risk Management frameworks.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
β’ Proficient in SQL and Python, with a background in creating modular, version-controlled transformations.
β’ Practical experience with Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, dbt, and data lake frameworks (Iceberg, Trino, Athena).
β’ Strong comprehension of ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and governance within distributed systems.
β’ Knowledgeable in AWS (Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, EMR) and cloud-native data architectures.
β’ Exceptional collaborator with experience in cross-functional settings (DevSecOps, Data Science, Security).
