This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You ensure that diverse network data is transformed into a computable, consistent digital twin.

• You integrate and connect various data sources from network operators – such as GIS, billing systems, control centers, and measurement and sensor data.

• You prepare data so that it can be directly utilized in our simulation and planning models.

• You develop scalable data pipelines and integration logic for existing and new customer systems.

• You evaluate and test new technologies and approaches to enhance data quality, consistency, and automation.

• You collaborate closely with software development, network planning, and our clients to translate technical requirements into clean data models.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree from a university or technical college in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Alternatively, at least two years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

• Experience with databases – ideally both NoSQL and SQL (or the motivation to quickly familiarize yourself with one of these topics).

• Excellent knowledge of Python, especially in data processing (e.g., with pandas or similar libraries).

• Experience with software testing, software maintainability, and Git.

• Enjoyment in understanding, modeling, and standardizing complex data structures.

• Interest in energy networks and energy-related issues – prior knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.

• A structured, solution-oriented work ethic and a passion for making technical concepts understandable.

• Very good German language skills.
