• Design and implement automated workflows to enhance cross-system data flow.
• Identify and visualize essential interdependencies between hardware components and software systems throughout the enterprise.
• Assist in the integration of data across programs and the software acquisition pathway to track real-time program health.
• Analyze extensive datasets of requirements across multiple programs to detect duplications.
• Drive consolidation efforts to eliminate waste and optimize operations.
• Develop and maintain data models that facilitate "what-if" scenario planning and enterprise-level ontologies, ensuring consistent data definitions across various programs.
• Employ data-driven "downtracing" techniques to refine solution architectures, ensuring traceability of every requirement from high-level mission objectives to technical implementation.
• Convert complex data models into engaging narratives, dashboards, and briefings.
• Effectively communicate project requirements, resource gaps, and the implications of various investment trade-offs to senior Army leadership.
• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering or architecture, or systems engineering, ideally within a Department of War or Army context.
• Advanced proficiency with data integration tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, or specialized MBSE tools like Cameo or MagicDraw).
• Demonstrated capability to conduct complex data mapping and identify interdependencies within a "system-of-systems" architecture.
• Outstanding ability to present technical data to non-technical executive audiences, emphasizing resource allocation and decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Active INCOSE (ASEP/CSEP), OCSMP model certification, or a related qualification.
• Familiarity with Army acquisition processes, CPE models, the Army's modernization priorities, and the implementation of data governance standards to ensure interoperability.
• Experience in building data bridges or integrations between System Modeling tools (e.g., Cameo or Capella/Arcadia) and Analytics platforms (e.g., Vantage).
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Experience with digital engineering frameworks and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Knowledge of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) standards to ensure data portability and system interoperability.
