Data Engineer – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop data solutions utilizing ADF, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Databricks.

• Construct data models for efficient data processing, endpoint processing, and integration.

• Create and enhance data pipelines for real-time, batch processing, and BYOD scenarios.

• Develop semantic models and dimensional models within Power BI.

• Create enterprise dashboards, paginated reports, and solutions for self-service analytics.

• Implement row-level security, intricate DAX measures, and optimize models.

• Employ DataOps methodologies, along with monitoring and performance tuning.

• Ensure data security, quality, and governance standards are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Microsoft technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Power BI.

• Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Spark SQL, Python/Scala, DAX, and Power Query (M).

• Experience in real-time streaming using Event Hubs/Kafka and batch processing techniques.

• Demonstrated success in implementing medallion architecture and enterprise BI solutions.
