Data Engineer, AWS, Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable cloud solutions utilizing AWS services.

• Engage with distributed data architectures, emphasizing data democratization (Data Mesh).

• Construct resilient data pipelines using Python and integrate various sources and targets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile framework.

• Develop and oversee observability solutions leveraging Datadog (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards).

• Contribute to the establishment of best practices for version control (Git/GitHub), testing, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., SQS, S3, SNS, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Glue Data Catalog, Athena, QuickSight, RDS (Aurora), IAM, Secrets Manager, Step Functions, Batch, EC2, CloudWatch, KMS, CodePipeline, EMR).

• Understanding of medallion architecture and data pipeline design.

• Practical experience with data democratization (Data Mesh).

• Strong proficiency and experience in Python and Spark.

• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience with Git (GitHub).

• Knowledge of observability tools, particularly Datadog (essential).

• Desirable skills include Data Mesh, Angular, Java, Kafka, Docker.

• Some experience with agile methodologies.

• Awareness of Data Quality practices.
