Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.

• Create and implement automated data validation and quality assurance processes for essential datasets.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across various systems.

• Analyze discrepancies and conduct root cause investigations across data pipelines and storage solutions.

• Enhance visibility into the health of pipelines, including failures and data anomalies.

• Assist in preparing data for new product and brand launches.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, product teams, and analytics stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, Python, and Bash.

• Practical experience in constructing data pipelines within AWS (or comparable cloud services).

• Strong comprehension of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing data quality checks and validation frameworks.

• Proven track record in ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Capable of conducting root cause analysis on data-related issues.

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Kestra.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform).

• Excellent command of professional-level English communication, both written and verbal, is essential.
