Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Create and implement advanced data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and analytics platforms, for leading companies and organizations in the Nordics.

• Develop, construct, and sustain scalable data integration and transformation pipelines across cloud-based data platforms.

• Utilize data modeling and governance best practices to guarantee reliable, scalable, and business-aligned analytics solutions.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect and convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Enhance pipeline and platform performance to satisfy scalability and reliability requirements.

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Participate in agile teams, engaging in planning, reviews, and ongoing improvement.

• Keep abreast of emerging data technologies and integrate relevant innovations into your work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI development.

• Proficient in SQL with practical experience in data transformation and querying.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar).

• Experience with data integration and orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar).

• Knowledge of data warehouse design and contemporary data modeling concepts (including Medallion architecture, lakehouse design, Star Schema, or Data Vault).

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
