This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Data Ingestion & ETL: Develop Python/SQL pipelines for the ingestion of invoices, orders, and catalogs.
• Conduct historical backfills through SFTP/API and oversee Airflow DAGs.
• Instance Configuration: Configure custom fields, product filtering criteria, and sales workflows.
• Oversee SSO and user provisioning for new deployments.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Utilize AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor) and LLMs to enhance the generation of Python/SQL scripts, data mapping, and debugging processes.
• Customer Communication & Projects: Serve as a technical liaison. Simplify complex data issues into understandable updates for clients. Manage project milestones from initiation to "Go Live."
• Integration & Automation: Create Workato recipes and link customer ERPs via APIs/webhooks to guarantee real-time data transmission.
• QA & Troubleshooting: Address HubSpot support tickets, resolve data inconsistencies in extensive datasets, and implement production fixes.
• Documentation: Keep customer data mappings and internal technical runbooks updated.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or similar positions.
• Proficient SQL skills for conducting data analysis and validation.
• Strong Python scripting abilities for data processing tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly GCP (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/CSV data formats, and Git workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• **Preferred:**
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier).
• Exposure to CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Asana).
• Understanding of eCommerce or sales data models (e.g., products, orders, opportunities).
