This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Design, test, and sustain data pipelines and DBT models to guarantee a consistent data flow across various systems.
• Collaborate with analysts to organize datasets that are tailored for reporting and activation purposes.
• Facilitate data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation to uphold confidence in our data.
• Assist with data integrations using tools such as Google Tag Manager, Hightouch, Segment, and Braze.
• Work alongside senior engineers to comprehend our data architecture and adhere to best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver data for targeting, personalization, and measurement initiatives.
• Engage in code reviews, team discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Diagnose data issues, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to enhancing workflow automation.
• Assist in creating documentation and internal guides for the data team.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Strong grasp of SQL and foundational to intermediate proficiency in Python for data manipulation and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (preferably BigQuery) and version control systems (Git).
• Ideally possess some basic knowledge of DBT, reverse ETL, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Prefect, Airflow).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in understanding how data flows through systems.
