Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Join a dedicated data engineering team that provides our logistics planning and optimization products with high-quality geographic and non-geographic data, particularly focusing on toll system data.

• Take charge of collecting, analyzing, preparing, and processing extensive datasets utilizing modern Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and automated, cloud-based data processing pipelines.

• Maintain data accuracy and timeliness through automated validation mechanisms and targeted manual quality assurance processes.

• Work closely with data engineers and software developers who manage and continually improve our data processing environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Geoinformatics, Computer Science) or equivalent vocational training such as Geomatics Technician or IT Specialist in Data and Process Analysis, along with relevant practical experience.

• Working knowledge of QGIS, strong SQL capabilities, and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, quality-focused approach when handling data that impacts customer-facing products.

• Basic understanding of road graphs and routing-related map attributes; familiarity with Python is an advantage.

• Strong team player with an open communication style and proficient in both written and spoken English.
