This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop scalable data pipelines.
• Enforce governance and quality standards.
• Assist in the enterprise data architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Data Architect.
• Create dependable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines utilizing Databricks, Spark, and cloud-native technologies.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or cloud data platforms.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing.
• Strong skills in SQL and structured data transformation.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Understanding of data modeling, schema evolution, pipeline troubleshooting, and data quality.
• Knowledge of security practices including RBAC, encryption, and credential management.
• Experience with Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and lakehouse design.
• Acquainted with Unity Catalog, Purview, Glue Catalog, or similar tools.
• Experience with orchestration tools (ADF, Airflow, Databricks Workflows).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Power BI, geospatial data, or AI/ML data preparation.
• Relevant cloud or Databricks certifications (DP-203, Data Engineer Associate, etc.).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
