Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, and cleanse data from diverse sources.

• Create and execute data models, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows.

• Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop predictive models to address business challenges.

• Generate reports and visualizations utilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend business issues and deliver actionable insights.

• Continuously enhance internal processes by automating repetitive tasks.

• Assist in account expansion initiatives by identifying opportunities to add value to clients.

• Report directly to the Head of Data and Engineering.

• Performance will be evaluated based on data pipeline quality, delivery timeliness, client impact, reporting quality, and automation enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling.

• Previous experience with marketing data.

• Proficient in Python and SQL (as well as other relevant languages/tools).

• Experience in constructing ETL pipelines and transforming data from various sources.

• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Applicants must reside within the targeted time zones/locations: Southeast Asia, East Asia, or South Asia.

• Nice to have: Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

• Nice to have: GCP certification.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of big data processing technologies, such as Spark or Hadoop.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
