Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, and cleanse data from diverse sources

• Create and execute data models, ETL pipelines, and automation processes

• Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop predictive models to address business challenges

• Generate reports and visualizations utilizing BI tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend business issues and deliver actionable insights

• Continuously enhance internal processes by automating repetitive tasks

• Assist in account growth initiatives by identifying ways to deliver additional value to clients

• Engage in medium to large-scale projects across various industries

• Report to the Head of Data and Engineering

• Performance evaluated based on data pipeline quality, on-time delivery, client impact, reporting quality, and improvements in automation

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a Data Engineering role

• Comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling

• Previous experience managing marketing data

• Proficient in Python and SQL, along with other pertinent languages/tools

• Experience in building ETL pipelines and transforming data from various sources

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

• Targeted time zones/locations: Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia; only applications from these time zones/locations will be considered

• GCP certification is a plus

• Knowledge of big data processing tools like Spark or Hadoop is advantageous

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is beneficial

• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a plus
