Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, and refine data from various sources.

• Create and implement data models, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows.

• Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop predictive models to address business challenges.

• Generate reports and visualizations utilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend business issues and deliver actionable insights.

• Continually enhance internal processes by automating repetitive tasks.

• Aid in account expansion initiatives by identifying opportunities to add value to clients.

• Engage in medium to large-scale projects across various industries.

• Report to the Head of Data and Engineering.

• Freelance schedule of 16–20 hours per week.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Extensive knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling.

• Previous experience with marketing data.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL (as well as other relevant languages/tools).

• Experience in building ETL pipelines and transforming data from various sources.

• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Targeted time zones/locations: Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia; only applications from these specific time zones/locations will be considered.

• Nice to have: Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

• Nice to have: GCP certification.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of big data processing frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
