📋 Description

• This position is instrumental in the extensive modernization of legacy systems, overseeing the transition of over 10TB of documentation and records into a cloud-based framework.

• The role emphasizes the conversion of document-intensive workflows into organized, digital processes, facilitating seamless data integration across platforms utilizing MuleSoft APIs.

• This work directly enhances analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency for a critical enterprise platform.

• Lead the comprehensive data migration from legacy systems to cloud environments, including data mapping, transformation, and validation (focusing on Salesforce).

• Analyze and transform unstructured, document-heavy data into structured formats that are ready for analytics using Document AI.

• Implement data quality procedures (cleansing, deduplication, reconciliation) to guarantee accuracy and completeness following migration.

• Assist in phased migration and system cutover to minimize operational disruptions.

• Design, construct, and sustain MuleSoft integrations, including API development for both real-time and batch data exchanges.

• Apply data transformation logic (e.g., DataWeave) and resolve integration/data flow challenges across systems.

• Contribute to the Salesforce Data 360 implementation, focusing on data harmonization, identity resolution, and unified profiles.

• Ensure proper data ingestion, lineage, metadata management, and traceability throughout the ecosystem.

• Adhere to data governance, privacy, and security protocols (e.g., PII compliance).

• Collaborate within Agile teams, supporting testing, documentation, and audit readiness throughout migration and integration initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract specifications.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Candidates must have resided in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering, data migration, or data integration roles.

• Demonstrated success in executing large-scale data migration projects, including transforming legacy systems.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce data migrations, including data modeling, data loading (e.g., Data Loader, APIs), and managing relational datasets.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience implementing data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes during migration projects.

• Current or recent Public Trust or active Secret clearance is preferred.

• Experience supporting the DHS or other federal agencies is desirable.

• At least 1 year of experience using Informatica (e.g., PowerCenter, IICS) for ETL/ELT development, data mapping, and pipeline orchestration.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling concepts for 2 years or more.

• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data, including document-based records.

• At least 1 year of experience supporting or developing MuleSoft integrations, including API development, data transformations, and system-to-system data flows.

• Over 1 year of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including DataWeave and API-led connectivity models.

• Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS platforms and distributed data architectures is a plus.

• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and audit frameworks.

• Experience working in federal or highly regulated settings.

• Proven experience supporting Agile delivery teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience facilitating large-scale, document-centric system migrations.

• Familiarity with Docusign eSignature and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) products is advantageous.

• Experience with Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) including data harmonization and identity resolution.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) tools for extracting structured data from documents.

• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements, particularly regarding sensitive data (e.g., PII).
