• Our consultants on the Defense & Security AI & Data team assist clients in maximizing the value of their data and automating business processes.
• Perform ETL/ELT and conduct data quality analysis utilizing various technologies (e.g., Python, Databricks, Palantir Foundry).
• Oversee ETL/ELT operations and design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures and tools.
• Create integrated data pipelines and models to evaluate program performance and provide progress reports.
• Operate within cloud-based databases and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Design and construct distributed systems to ensure scalability and security.
• Utilize data integration and management tools alongside databases.
• Collect requirements, design, implement, and test database systems.
• Collaborate with non-technical users to gather requirements effectively.
• Prepare and provide data to facilitate data science and machine learning initiatives.
• Exhibit a strong grasp of relational databases, columnar data warehouses, data lakes, NoSQL, and various other storage types.
• Create intuitive, engaging, and interactive data visualizations using extensive data sets to develop dashboards, employing tools like Tableau and Power BI, tailored for a diverse audience with varying technical skills.
• An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is necessary.
• A minimum of FOUR (4) years of total experience in a data or IT field is essential.
• At least TWO (2) years of experience in data engineering is required.
• Proven experience in designing and developing databases using Structured Query Language (SQL) and executing complex queries.
• Experience in creating intricate data pipelines and executing extract – transform – load (ETL) processes.
• Proficiency in moving and manipulating various data types and file formats using Python.
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases and architecture is essential.
• Demonstrated capability in managing data quality and integration to ensure accurate and usable datasets using querying or data engineering software tools, such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and/or Power BI for visualizing large datasets.
• Experience in developing and implementing a resiliency strategy, including tailored data visualization for law enforcement.
• Proven track record in creating transformative data integration solutions that enhance law enforcement operations, workforces, and workplaces through innovation, assets, and analytics for successful evolution.
