This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Manage and provide support for the Databricks platform and the associated AWS infrastructure.

• Collaborate with Business and Executive teams, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Security & Infrastructure departments.

• Investigate, create proof-of-concept projects, and recommend the adoption of new platform features and technologies.

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines that track operational data to monitor the health of the Data Platform.

• Create, improve, and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) artifacts for administrative tools using CDK and Terraform.

• Empower teams to leverage the Data Platform for both internal and external AI solutions.

• Construct, enhance, and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide insights into operational, cost, and security indicators.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Spark (using Python or Scala).

• Advanced skills in Python and SQL.

• Significant experience in both utilizing and administering Databricks.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles along with hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CDK.

• Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication abilities in a hybrid working environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area of study, or equivalent experience.
