Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to gather, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems into a centralized Data Lake.

• Design and enhance data architectures for reporting and analytical purposes.

• Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility across all systems.

• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to establish data requirements and support business intelligence initiatives.

• Monitor and resolve issues with data pipelines to maintain smooth operations.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar tools).

• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python.

• Experience with data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3, or BigQuery).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated services for data processing.

• Understanding of data modeling and optimizing database performance.

• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Process-oriented and detail-focused, prioritizing quality.

• Must be available for a 4-hour overlap between 15:00 and 19:00 Poland time.

• Must currently reside in Poland.
