Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Facilitate scalable data operations through the development of ETL processes, SQL-based integrations, Power Platform solutions, and Power BI reporting functionalities.

• Design, construct, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data-processing automation systems.

• Create and sustain data ingestion pipelines from external sources into SQL databases.

• Oversee automated flows to initiate Logic Apps and manage lightweight processes.

• Execute full-stack BI development, encompassing data modeling, DAX development, and report publishing.

• Utilize Microsoft Fabric as the unified access platform.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Perform root-cause analysis to resolve discrepancies between systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, automation engineering, or similar technical positions.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Experience in developing and maintaining Logic Apps and Power Automate workflows.

• Advanced SQL development capabilities, including query optimization and ETL development.

• Strong background in Power BI development, particularly in data modeling.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise BI/reporting platforms.

• Experience in administering Azure resources, including RBAC.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within ETL pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
