Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop, automate, and enhance infrastructure and processes to facilitate swift, dependable software delivery

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines

• Oversee cloud environments

• Execute Infrastructure as Code

• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and resilient

• Collaborate closely with developers to integrate automation

• Optimize deployment workflows

• Monitor application performance to ensure high availability across all environments

• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared ownership among engineering teams

• Identify bottlenecks and suggest architectural improvements

• Advocate for containerization, configuration-as-code, and automated testing

• Align tools, processes, and infrastructure with the needs of the business

• Assist teams in delivering features more rapidly, addressing issues promptly, and maintaining a stable, secure operational environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience Type: Experienced

• TS clearance level

• Must possess US work authorization that does not now or in the future necessitate visa sponsorship

• Experience in data engineering, DevOps, or similar infrastructure and software delivery

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in managing cloud environments

• Experience in executing Infrastructure as Code

• Capable of developing, automating, and optimizing infrastructure and software delivery processes

• Ability to collaborate closely with developers

• Skilled in implementing containerization, configuration-as-code, and automated testing

• Proficient in monitoring application performance and ensuring high availability

• Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose architectural enhancements
