Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of key business metrics for decision-making based on reliable data.

• Coordinate the work of adjacent specialists and develop technical requirements for the advancement of the company's entire data infrastructure.

• Transform complex business requirements and hypotheses into final, structured data marts.

• Set tasks and monitor the execution of work by contract specialists (Data Engineering / DevOps).

• Implement data quality control practices and risk management to ensure data integrity.

• Document key business metrics (calculation logic, sources) and establish processes for task prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of corporate experience in the data field.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL (window functions, complex joins, CTE, optimization).

• Experience in building models for BI reporting.

• Ability to transform product team queries into clear technical assignments.

• Experience with BigQuery or other analytical data warehouses: Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks.

• Understanding of OLAP architecture principles and query optimization (partitioning, clustering, cost optimization).
