Data Engineer, Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design and execute enterprise-level data architectures, encompassing data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.

• Develop and manage automated data pipelines for the ingestion, validation, transformation, and storage of data from various sources.

• Create scalable data models and schemas to ensure consistent metrics, reporting, and analytics.

• Set and enforce data standards and quality controls to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and repeatability.

• Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend data and reporting needs and convert them into technical solutions.

• Collaborate with analytics and visualization teams to ensure data is well-structured and optimized for downstream applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture within complex settings.

• Extensive experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

• Practical experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Demonstrated capability to integrate and harmonize multiple fragmented data sources.

• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and security best practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
