📋 Description

• Develop and manage data repositories, pipelines, and transformations for customer-oriented products, internal tools, and business analytics and operations.

• Expand and enhance the organization's data architecture and reporting capabilities to accommodate new products and services.

• Operate within an event-driven architecture to capture data events, store, organize, and produce reports for analysis.

• Work alongside fellow developers on the data team, as well as developers from various teams, to define, design, and implement scalable and dependable products and features that leverage data to enhance health care outcomes.

• Collaborate with product management, customer success management, business operations, and executive teams to gather and analyze data for understanding quality of care trends.

• Ensure data integrity and reliability by developing tests and validating outcomes through continuous monitoring.

• Create and sustain technical documentation to support the maintenance and improvement of systems.

• Operate in an Agile environment to plan, track, and enhance the delivery of new features and products.

• Work together with customer support and operations teams to provide assistance and participate in the on-call rotation as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software or data engineering within a SaaS company, ideally in a startup setting.

• Proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines, including ETL or ELT data flows.

• Experience with cloud query platforms like AWS Athena and AWS RDS.

• Competence in using Python and PySpark for data processing tasks.

• Familiarity with workflow orchestration concepts and tools, such as Airflow.

• Experience with data analytics and visualization technologies and tools, including Looker.

• Ability to write efficient SQL queries and enhance basic PySpark jobs with guidance.

• Previous contributions to data storage and pipeline solutions with supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a background in cross-functional team collaboration.

• Proactive in anticipating and resolving issues before they arise.

• Working-level proficiency with SQL and database concepts and tools.

• Working-level proficiency in data warehouse modeling techniques.
