Data Conversion Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Act as a dedicated partner for the internal Data Solutions Consultants, ensuring they receive clear specifications and context while managing administrative workflows, allowing them to concentrate on technical execution.

• Convert technical progress, data challenges, and migration outcomes from the Data Solutions team into easily understandable business narratives for client stakeholders.

• Conduct regular status calls with clients to communicate project health, highlighting successful data loads and managing expectations regarding timelines or data discrepancies.

• Ensure the smooth flow of information between parties, accurately scoping client requirements for the technical team while clearly explaining technical constraints to the client.

• Effectively prioritize and switch contexts to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining close alignment with the Data Solutions team on resource availability.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the communication workflow between the Project Management and Data Solutions teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in project management, finance, or consulting, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and conveying complex project updates.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and handle challenging discussions regarding timelines or scope.

• Strong grasp of financial products and securities modeling (while technical implementation skills are not necessary, a conceptual understanding is essential).

• A creative problem-solver who takes ownership and accountability in ambiguous situations.

• Ability to work effectively across teams and functions to create measurable impact, particularly in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and continually seeking ways to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Thrives in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and global stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Python or SQL. While you won’t be responsible for building the infrastructure, your ability to query data or comprehend automated workflows will enhance your impact and communication effectiveness.
