Data Conversion Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with functional leaders to establish requirements for data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion rules across Financials, SCM, HCM, and Projects.

• Examine legacy system architectures to pinpoint gaps, cleansing requirements, dependencies, and constraints.

• Create comprehensive mapping specifications and conversion design documents that adhere to Oracle templates and staging standards.

• Develop conversion programs utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud FBDI, APIs, REST services, and automation methods for staging tables.

• Produce automated loading scripts and low-code SQL packages that align with Oracle and project accelerators.

• Prepare conversion scripts, sequencing plans, dependency charts, and cutover runbooks.

• Conduct production data loads, resolve issues, and verify migrated records.

• Collaborate with functional teams on post-conversion audits, reconciliations, and business acceptance procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS conversion programs (SQL, PL/SQL, FBDI, ADF DI, APIs, REST).

• In-depth knowledge of relational database design, data modeling, and structured ETL development.

• Familiarity with financial or supply chain master data structures, transactional processes, and Oracle staging templates.

• Experience in supporting mock conversions, validation cycles, and production cutover activities.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
