Data Center Technology Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the technical development and specification of data center initiatives in collaboration with engineering firms and specialized consultants;

• Assist in feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and infrastructure evaluations related to site selection and project progression;

• Aid in shaping the company's technical offerings and market presence in Brazil;

• Facilitate client interactions and commercial negotiations by converting technical capabilities into business solutions for hyperscale, enterprise, and carrier clients;

• Cultivate relationships with technology vendors, telecom carriers, infrastructure providers, and technical partners;

• Assist in budgeting, procurement strategy, and technical planning during the business development phase;

• Collaborate closely with the Australian executive board and the Brazil Country Manager on strategic technical issues;

• Contribute to the future organization of the company’s technical team as operations advance;

• Aid in the creation of technical standards, infrastructure concepts, and operational readiness for upcoming facilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related disciplines;

• Proficiency in Portuguese and English;

• Spanish language skills are a plus;

• Experience in data centers, telecommunications, mission-critical infrastructure, or large-scale digital infrastructure projects;

• Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary technical stakeholders and external consultants;

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure environments, including power, cooling, connectivity, and operational resilience concepts;

• Experience in fast-growing companies, infrastructure projects, or multinational settings is preferred;

• Willingness to travel within Brazil as the project progresses.
