This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead commercial negotiations and Master Service Agreements for essential IT infrastructure, including networking devices, fiber connectivity, and computing hardware.
β’ Review partner procurement schedules, ensure optimal resource allocation, and promote cost efficiency in constrained market conditions.
β’ Establish frameworks to guarantee that third-party datacenter partners comply with commercial equipment terms and technical specifications.
β’ Formulate a global inventory strategy that encompasses warehousing, third-party logistics, buffer stock, and distribution models to enhance time to market and improve availability.
β’ Actively track global supply chain fluctuations and implement contingency plans to prevent critical project delays.
β’ Convert technical roadmaps into equipment forecasts and procurement pipelines.
β’ Collaborate with Finance to refine inventory strategies.
β’ Create efficient return and replacement processes with vendors to expedite the restoration of failed equipment.
β’ Negotiate warranty conditions and monitor vendor performance regarding RMA execution.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement.
β’ Proven history of developing processes for forecasting, planning, and managing data center materials for build-out and/or operations.
β’ Familiarity with data center network and computing hardware (e.g., switches, routers, cables, servers, PDUs, etc.).
β’ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
