Data Center Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the creation of project schedules

• Developing comprehensive engineering, construction, and validation schedules that are logic-driven and resource-loaded, analyzing updates to the critical path, tracking schedule progress, evaluating scheduling options, and communicating the status to the project manager, clients, consultants, and others

• Coordinating and negotiating project schedules and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes for clients

• Proactively identifying and addressing project risks, resolving challenges and conflicts to keep teams and deliverables on track

• Participating in schedule and budget review meetings at construction sites or client facilities

• Collecting and documenting real-time schedule and performance data, which includes installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress metrics for both direct hire and subcontracted work

• Providing detailed information and related reports

• Capable of meeting and managing deadlines and project action requests

• Fostering positive relationships with Arcadis Teams, Client Teams, and other relevant stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project scheduling, ideally within data center construction programs or large, complex capital construction projects

• Proven project history demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

• Strong technical software skills, particularly proficiency in Primavera P6

• Currently holds or is interested in obtaining professional certifications such as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
