Data Center Commissioning Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the technical execution as both a project manager and site lead for mission-critical commissioning projects with minimal oversight, while carrying out tasks that necessitate independent judgment and assessment.

• Ensure effective communication with clients, contractors, and other members of the project team.

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships.

• Oversee project-specific commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, test scripts, and timelines for Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning activities.

• Direct onsite teams in conducting functional performance tests on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Deliver project management and coordination to fulfill client expectations regarding technical excellence, budget, and schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in building systems commissioning.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving construction and operational challenges.

• Familiarity with cloud-based construction and commissioning management tools.

• Working knowledge and experience with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Willingness to travel 75% or more, as dictated by national-level projects.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is considered an advantage.

• PE License or the ability to obtain one is viewed favorably.

• Commissioning Certification is considered a plus.

• PMP Certification is regarded as advantageous.

• Test and Balance Certification is also considered a plus.
