Data Associate – Marketing Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of monitoring essential funnel metrics via reports and dashboards, evaluating channel performance, identifying deviations, and determining root causes with minimal guidance.

• Analyze defined business challenges independently using SQL and Python, quantify the factors contributing to drop-offs, and provide recommendations that consider business trade-offs.

• Develop, update, and maintain dbt data models in Snowflake to enhance and streamline marketing reporting, while writing reusable, standards-compliant code.

• Create and manage Periscope dashboards, incorporating charts and metrics that enhance visibility throughout the marketing funnel.

• Present concise, action-oriented recommendations to senior management, adjusting the narrative and visualizations to suit the audience.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Risk, and Engineering teams to align strategy changes, oversee releases, and perform post-release impact analyses.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite analysis and development, while rigorously verifying their output—identifying errors, validating logic, and ensuring accuracy.

• Contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and mentoring junior analysts.

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics is required.

• Proficient in SQL with advanced knowledge and experience in relational databases and query authoring, along with familiarity with various databases.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Python.

• Proven ability to work effectively alongside AI/LLM tools, utilizing them to enhance productivity while independently verifying and correcting their outputs.

• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp attention to detail.
