This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Design and architecture of solutions

• Oversee the complete lifecycle delivery: from requirements to design, build, deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimization & support

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability across EDW and BI platforms

• Lead cloud deployment and prepare analytics solutions for production

• Conduct architecture and technical design workshops

• Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning business strategy with technical execution

• Guide and mentor BI developers, data engineers, and analysts

• Establish and uphold standards for data governance, stewardship, security, and reporting

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles

• Proven track record of owning and delivering enterprise EDW/BI solutions from start to finish

• Demonstrated responsibility for the entire lifecycle delivery (design, build, deploy, optimize, adopt)

• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS Glue and Amazon Redshift

• Extensive knowledge in dimensional modeling (star schema, fact/dimension design)

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling with Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience in constructing and enhancing ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data platforms utilizing contemporary ETL tools

• Proven experience in managing complex, high-volume, multi-source data environments

• Previous experience in implementing or integrating BI solutions, preferably using Tableau

• Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments (preferably AWS or Azure)

• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
