This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

• Design, implement, and sustain the organization's data architecture.

• Develop and uphold enterprise data models, schemas, and standards.

• Define data flows and integration patterns among systems, including Snowflake.

• Supervise logical and physical database design to enhance performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with DBAs on optimization, capacity planning, and Snowflake performance management.

• Establish standards for data quality, security, and compliance.

• Implement metadata management and maintain an updated data dictionary.

• Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes tailored for data warehousing and analytics.

• Ensure seamless interoperability between on-premises and cloud systems.

• Engage with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to convert requirements into data solutions.

• Offer guidance on best practices for data modeling.

• Ensure that data architecture aligns with performance SLAs and security requirements.

• Implement encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms across both traditional DBMS and Snowflake environments.

• Evaluate emerging technologies in cloud, big data, and AI/ML.

• Suggest enhancements to data architecture, focusing on Snowflake optimization and new cloud capabilities.

• Candidates must hold H1B, OPT, or USC status.

• Proven experience in data architecture, database design, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, or comparable RDBMS.

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

• Proficient in ETL tools, APIs, and integration frameworks.

• Expertise in modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.

• Experience in designing and optimizing ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics.
