Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute enterprise data architecture for a unified care platform.

• Create scalable enterprise data platforms to address clinical, operational, reporting, and analytics requirements.

• Utilize AI technologies to enhance system design, development, and operational effectiveness.

• Design and manage enterprise data models and integration solutions across Microsoft Dynamics, EHR/EMR, claims, and third-party systems.

• Create and supervise ETL/ELT processes for accurate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and distribution.

• Set standards for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management.

• Collaborate with Engineering to develop contemporary cloud-based data solutions using Azure, including data lake and data warehouse frameworks.

• Ensure that data solutions adhere to HIPAA, HITRUST, privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

• Work alongside business stakeholders to convert strategic goals into scalable data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and architectures utilizing Python, Azure platforms, and SQL.

• Healthcare data management experience is essential.

• Extensive experience with Azure Data Platform technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Power Platform, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Databricks.

• Strong background in designing data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and utilizing HTTP web service APIs, webhooks, and GraphQL.

• Profound knowledge of data modeling methodologies, including dimensional modeling, normalized designs, and contemporary analytical data structures.

• Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Experience with healthcare data standards and operational healthcare datasets is highly preferred.

• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, metadata management, and master data management principles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
