• Establish and execute the data architecture strategy for our SaaS platform.
• Create a data platform that ensures robust data governance, effective operational control, and the flexibility required by end users.
• Lead the design and oversee the development of scalable models, data pipelines, and data lakes/warehouses utilizing Azure Fabric.
• Collaborate with product teams to grasp data requirements and convert them into actionable technical solutions.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and uphold a data governance framework.
• Supervise the execution of data integration, ETL processes, and data migration strategies.
• Design and implement sophisticated analytics and reporting solutions to facilitate business decision-making.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers to design and deliver AI solutions leveraging the latest AI methodologies.
• Mentor and support junior data engineers and architects.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to further departmental and company goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 9–12 years of experience in data architecture, data management, and business intelligence.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services, encompassing Azure Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks.
• Experience in the legal or financial industries is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as business needs dictate.
• This role requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary, primarily desk/computer work.
