Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance scalable modern data platforms, pipelines, and workflows

• Collaborate with team members to identify necessary builds

• Execute comprehensive data architectures emphasizing scalability, analytics, and AI readiness

• Establish and refine data modeling strategies, ingestion processes, transformations, and orchestration workflows

• Partner with software engineers, AI engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure technical decisions align with business objectives

• Engage with cloud-native data platforms, relational and non-relational databases, and contemporary data stack tools

• Take part in technical and strategic conversations with international clients and multidisciplinary teams

• Assist in infrastructure, pipelines, architecture, AI integration, analytics, and modernization projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in constructing scalable data architectures and modern data engineering solutions

• Familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or similar tools

• In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, orchestration, and distributed data systems

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, cloud-native data platforms, and enterprise-scale architectures

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity, shifting business requirements, and rapidly evolving technical landscapes

• Proficient-level English communication skills for calls, discussions, and asynchronous collaboration with international clients and teams

• Utilization of AI in daily workflows for automation, query generation, documentation, workflow acceleration, or operational support

• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, AI integration projects, or distributed data systems is a significant advantage

• Valid business registration in the candidate’s country, such as CNPJ, VAT, EIN, or equivalent

• Bank account capable of receiving USD payments

• Ability to issue invoices accordingly
