Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead decisions regarding data and AI architecture and technology.

• Offer insights that shape strategy and planning for scalable data solutions or products.

• Inform customers about scalable, flexible, resilient, secure, and cost-effective architectures.

• Connect technology with measurable business value and outcomes.

• Explore and assess new tools and technologies.

• Convert client requirements into clear and actionable specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in designing cloud-hosted data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Practical knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

• Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data governance.

• Familiarity with data integration, data quality, and data security best practices.

• Experience with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Palantir.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (No Dual Citizenship).

• Applicants in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not necessitate current or future visa sponsorship.

• Bonus: Experience with cloud-first solutions.

• Bonus: Background in creating platforms and automating processes through scripting or software.

• Bonus: Knowledge in software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, and analytics.

• Bonus: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, along with SQL experience.
