Data Annotator I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Annotate objects in both 2D images and 3D sensor data.

• Develop 2D bounding boxes, 3D cuboids, and various shapes to represent vehicles, road features, and obstacles.

• Evaluate pre-labeled data against comprehensive guidelines.

• Accept, reject, or amend annotations using specialized software tools.

• Provide clear documentation when corrections are necessary.

• Acquire proficiency in internal tools.

• Precisely annotate objects within 2D and 3D environments.

• Consistently adhere to instructions and guidelines.

• Take ownership of assignments and adapt to procedural changes.

• Implement feedback to enhance skills and workflow.

• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively.

• Assist in Torc’s data annotation and quality assurance pipeline for AI systems utilized in autonomous trucks.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain focus and work efficiently during repetitive tasks.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities as needed.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Clear and effective communication abilities.

• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

• Proficiency in English required for daily collaboration with English-speaking colleagues and for understanding English technical documentation.

• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during core hours in Eastern Time.

• Must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, or Quebec.
