Data Analytics Manager – Sales Insights

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and implementation of sophisticated analytics, reporting solutions, and strategic insights throughout Assurant’s Protection Services.

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to pinpoint strategic opportunities and initiatives aimed at performance enhancement.

• Generate actionable insights and recommendations that foster growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and improved customer outcomes.

• Convert intricate business inquiries into quantifiable analytical frameworks and decision-support tools.

• Conduct business performance reviews and deliver analytics presentations at the executive level.

• Manage reporting strategies, dashboards, and enterprise performance measurement solutions.

• Design and sustain scalable reporting frameworks utilizing Power BI and other business intelligence tools.

• Promote the standardization and automation of reporting processes.

• Guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting.

• Execute predictive analyses, trend identification, scenario modeling, and forecasting.

• Create business cases and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.

• Assess factors influencing operational and commercial performance.

• Lead initiatives focused on data quality and governance processes.

• Establish controls and monitoring systems for data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to enhance data accessibility and scalability.

• Counsel internal business leaders and external stakeholders on analytics.

• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and client audiences.

• Support cross-functional initiatives that necessitate integrated analytics and performance measurement.

• Promote the adoption of cutting-edge analytics tools, automation solutions, and best practices.

• Suggest and implement improvements to analytics platforms, tools, and processes.

• Oversee complex analytical projects and cross-functional initiatives.

• Influence teams without direct authority to drive business outcomes.

• Mentor analysts and aid in the development of organizational capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data management, performance reporting, or related analytical functions.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions.

• Experience in supporting operational, financial, sales, or business performance initiatives.

• Proven success in influencing decisions through data-driven insights.

• At least 2 years of recent experience in direct client engagement and formulating “Go to Action Plans” based on data insights.

• Extensive experience with Python and SQL.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure environments.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting platforms.

• Knowledge of data transformation and automation tools.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to convert complex data into actionable business recommendations.

• Executive presence and effective presentation skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to function effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

• A Master’s degree, over 10 years of experience, enterprise transformation, relevant industry experience, leadership, and advanced analytics expertise are preferred qualifications.
