This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, analyze, validate, and compile facilities data that supports OTSG/MEDCOM operations and Medical Readiness.
• Execute data mining, routine analysis, modeling, and research utilizing various data sources.
• Query, interpret, and present data employing effective analytical and research methodologies.
• Examine relationships across multiple data systems and integrate information using data-management techniques.
• Identify challenges and root causes, and formulate recommendations and solutions.
• Generate ad hoc queries, reports, data requests, and analytical outputs to fulfill government requirements.
• Compile weekly, monthly, and periodic operational results for stakeholders.
• Convert analytical insights into reports, specifications, instructions, flowcharts, and other deliverables.
• Offer analytical and database support for MEDCOM facilities and Army Real Property programs.
• Review, manage, and validate facility data within applicable Real Property Systems.
• Assist with the Army Facility Investment Plan and Medical Readiness requirements.
• Detect discrepancies between facility inventory and system data, and suggest corrective measures.
• Maintain facility data through data entry, database queries, validation, and quality-control processes.
• Aid in the creation, maintenance, and updating of business intelligence dashboards for Army Medical Readiness.
• Engage in the complete analytical lifecycle from requirements gathering and extraction to manipulation, reporting, dashboard design, and delivery.
• Extract, manipulate, analyze, and export data for dashboards and reports.
• Support the integration and management of dashboard data for MEDCOM.
• Plan and spearhead process-improvement initiatives related to databases and analytics.
• Develop standardized procedures, documentation, specifications, instructions, and process flowcharts.
• Keep organized, accessible knowledge-management documentation and manage access permissions.
• Draft meeting notes, action items, decisions, and follow-up requirements.
• Conduct training on Army Real Property Systems, data processes, dashboards, and analytical deliverables.
• Provide technical and analytical assistance to Medical Readiness Commands and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with MEDCOM, OTSG, project teams, government stakeholders, and customers.
• Convey complex data and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
• Travel to various locations across the United States may be necessary for program execution, meetings, training, data collection, or government obligations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analyst-related responsibilities.
• Proven experience working with data dashboards and integration programs.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• In-depth understanding of the MEDCOM mission and operational context.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze information, interpret results, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to meet goals, milestones, and deadlines established by management.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport for commercial airfare travel.
• Must have or be able to acquire and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must maintain wired broadband internet service with a minimum of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload; some positions may require 200–300 Mbps download and 25–35 Mbps upload.
• Cellular hotspot or fixed wireless cellular services are not permitted as the primary connection.
