This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and oversee enterprise analytics architectures, encompassing data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead the creation of sophisticated dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
• Ensure clarity, performance, and user engagement with dashboards.
• Supervise the development of analytical datasets, KPIs, and metrics that align with both business and mission objectives.
• Direct analysts in constructing ETL workflows and data pipelines that support reporting and predictive analytics.
• Implement governance standards for data quality, validation, lineage, and metadata documentation.
• Collaborate with data engineering, operations, and leadership teams to convert business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Perform proactive performance tuning across BI platforms, including query optimization and enhancements to dashboard load times.
• Create and maintain documentation for analytics processes, data dictionaries, and compliance standards.
• Advocate for data literacy through training, communication, and engagement with stakeholders.
• Support critical missions within Peraton's Risk Decision Group.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a T5/SSBI federally adjudicated clearance.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience, which may include supervisory or leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server or Cloud.
• Strong development capabilities, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameterization, and performance optimization.
• Excellent SQL skills for analytical querying, dataset preparation, and optimization.
• Experience in managing or mentoring analytics teams or cross-functional analyst groups.
• Knowledge of enterprise reporting platforms, BI governance, and frameworks for data quality.
• Practical experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or Alteryx.
• Familiarity with data integrity enforcement, metadata management, and best practices in documentation.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Python or R is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other BI platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows for analytics deployment is preferred.
• A background in statistical analysis, forecasting, or machine learning is preferred.
• Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills within diverse teams.
• Clear and concise documentation and communication in fast-paced settings.
