This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the organization’s Information Technology and Data & Analytics departments.

• Carry out data analysis and reporting tasks within the enterprise data platform.

• Work together with business stakeholders, Product, and Data & Technology teams to gather, document, and clarify data and reporting needs.

• Investigate internal record systems and external data sources.

• Assist with the onboarding of third-party and private data sets.

• Aid in identifying data transformation and integration requirements for loading into the enterprise data warehouse.

• Conduct data validation and quality checks for dashboards, reports, and analytical results.

• Manage the Logical Data Dictionary (LDD), which includes field definitions, data lineage, and source system details.

• Document both functional and non-functional data requirements.

• Create reports and provide insights on customer behavior, operational performance, and essential business metrics.

• Assist in defining, tracking, and monitoring KPIs.

• Recognize data trends, anomalies, and data quality issues; support root cause analysis and resolution efforts.

• Enhance data quality through data curation, validation rules, and master data management support.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks and streamline data delivery workflows.

• Assist in the identification and documentation of PII, adhering to data governance and access control policies.

• Contribute to documentation regarding data availability, recovery requirements, and business continuity.

• Engage in team meetings, stakeholder reviews, and solution design sessions.

• Prepare and present data, reports, and analyses to management and business partners.

• Adhere to established data governance standards and best practices.

• Execute other tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required.

• A combination of education and experience may be accepted in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.

• Proven experience in supporting data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence functions.

• Experience in gathering requirements, querying and analyzing data, validating data quality, and delivering insights to stakeholders.

• Working knowledge of data profiling, validation techniques, and fundamental statistical analysis.

• Proficiency in collecting and documenting business requirements.

• Experience in querying and analyzing data using SQL across relational databases such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Postgres, and MySQL.

• Familiarity with data integration concepts, including ETL processes and modern data pipelines.

• Experience with structured and semi-structured data from internal systems and third-party data sources.

• Understanding of data governance principles, data quality, data lineage, and management of sensitive data, including PII.

• Capability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and basic root cause analysis.

• Experience with BI and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies and basic IT service management concepts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other third-party software applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

• Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business domains.

• Commitment to the values upheld by the company.

• Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

• Adherence to process protocols and timely application of established protocols.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday during business hours.

• Travel requirements: 5% or less.
