This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and oversee comprehensive analytics projects that tackle strategic business inquiries related to P&C underwriting, claims, distribution, and client experience.
• Create sophisticated statistical models, segmentation analyses, and predictive frameworks to extract insights from extensive, intricate datasets.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that enhance business accountability and drive operational enhancements.
• Detect data gaps and quality concerns; collaborate with data engineering teams to address root issues and elevate data integrity.
• Construct and sustain scalable data models and pipelines in conjunction with data engineering teams.
• Develop and manage executive-level dashboards and self-service reporting tools utilizing BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Write intricate SQL queries and utilize Python/R for statistical analysis, automation, and ad-hoc inquiries.
• Present analytical insights and recommendations to senior leadership, effectively communicating business implications and proposed actions.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and analytical excellence throughout the organization.
• A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Over 6 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Solid experience with Python or R for analytical processes.
• Proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience in the insurance, financial services, or healthcare industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with agency management systems, policy administration platforms, or insurance data warehouses is preferred.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
