Data Analytics Engineer – Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Construct and uphold interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to facilitate business and operational decision-making.

• Create and enhance data models, datasets, and semantic layers utilizing Databricks and SQL.

• Design, validate, and automate data transformations to guarantee high-quality and dependable reporting.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering and business stakeholders to establish reporting requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Oversee data quality, address reporting issues, and ensure uniformity across dashboards and data sources.

• Generate and sustain documentation for dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes to promote scalability and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production data pipelines.

• Robust experience with PySpark, Delta Lake, and Medallion architectures.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Notebooks, Data Pipelines, OneLake).

• Proficient SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, analytical queries).

• Experience constructing dependable, production-grade pipelines (backfills, reruns, monitoring, late-arriving data).

• Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem (Blob Storage, Entra ID, Key Vault).

• Advanced English proficiency, with the capability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
