This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide analytical and operational assistance to the core processes of Enterprise Operations.
• Serve as a consultant and analytical support resource for the Enterprise.
• Collaborate with Information Technology to define, prototype, and implement business solutions.
• Perform statistical analyses and research on critical business processes and operations.
• Cultivate relationships with internal customers.
• Create custom reports, metrics, and key performance indicators from various data sources.
• Ensure proper understanding and application of analyses.
• Present findings that facilitate high-value decision-making.
• Write advanced SQL scripts for data extraction utilizing joins, complex subqueries, and aggregations.
• Reverse-engineer existing programs to comprehend and document data-extraction rules.
• Employ SAS, R, Python, or similar programming skills to manipulate and analyze extensive datasets.
• Prototype intricate operational reports and execute simulations or statistical analyses.
• Convert Big Data into metrics that are consumable by the business.
• Analyze data using sophisticated statistical tools and techniques to extract insights and identify opportunities.
• Generate advanced spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
• Initiate and participate in peer reviews, leading sessions for significant deliverables.
• Act as a subject matter expert for one or more Health Business data sources.
• Provide guidance on the appropriate use of data.
• Mentor and support the long-term development of team members.
• Assist with the analysis, mapping, and documentation of processes and programs.
• Offer recommendations for corrections when necessary.
• Effectively communicate analysis results to internal customers and business partners.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional work experience.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience in applying statistical methods and tools.
• Extensive experience writing SQL, SAS, R, or similar code.
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching analytical resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Preferred: practical experience with predictive or statistical modeling techniques, including regression, classification, or forecasting in a business context.
• Preferred: familiarity with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
• Preferred: exposure to machine learning concepts or techniques.
• Preferred: interest in advanced modeling and predictive analytics work.
