Data Analyst – Greek

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance the data quality of multilingual text classifiers

• Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to create parsers for various languages

• Translate taxonomies, which include Skills, Titles, and Occupations

• Analyze and refine data utilizing Excel and other data analysis tools

• Leverage expertise in language, data, and text analysis to ensure high-quality global data

• Assist Lightcast's global data initiatives and provide top-notch data to customers in worldwide markets

⛳️ Requirements

• A reliable laptop and internet connection are necessary

• A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related field is preferred

• Preference will be given to multilingual candidates, especially those fluent in additional languages

• Proficiency in reading and writing Greek is required, along with an understanding of language syntax and structural analysis

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, data cleanup, and various functions

• Understanding of query languages such as SQL

• Advanced skills in writing rules through regular expressions (RegEx)

• Awareness of text analysis or machine learning principles

• Experience in data analysis with tools such as Excel

• Capability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with precision and consistency

• Ability to follow intricate instructions, navigate uncertainty, and work autonomously

• Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, and time management
